In 1994, ownership and leadership were passed to his son, J. Steven Burkhart, who continued to grow the company while preserving its long-standing reputation for excellence and dependable service. Under his leadership, Burkhart Excavating has maintained its commitment to professionalism, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
After a lifetime of working with his grandfather and father, J. Michael Burkhart officially took the helm in 2023 and ensures the company and family values and ethics continue to guide and drive Burkhart Excavating.
